Saturday my pastor Dr. Young spoke to the Katy Football Team in their FCA meeting before heading to take the state championship. A Big congrat's to the remarkable coaching staff at Katy High School and to the great players.
Coaches are so important to a teenagers life. Sports is such a big part. I'm so glad in Katy Texas at all the Jr and Sr High's we have in the most part great Leaders as coaches. Coaches play such a huge leadership role in a teen's life and I’m thankful we have coaches pushing our teen's towards the right way.
All Coaches have done an outstanding job this year and we applaud their commitment to spiritual matters and moral values. They are Men/Women who love the Lord and their leadership among students is highly encouraging for those of us who follow Jr high and Sr High Sports. Therefore, to all the players, spirit groups, school administration, and coaching staff, I say “you did great and represented the Katy ISD in the highest manner.” We are so proud of you.
