This morning early I had the privilege to have breakfast with a group of men (Mike, Mike and Keith). These 3 men meet every Monday AM @ 6:30 @ Cracker Barrel to talk about a book they are going through with their 7th grade boys.
They have taking the book Preparing Your Son for Every Man's Battle: Honest Conversations About Sexual Integrity and are going through it with their son’s.
Once a week the read the book w/ their 7th grader boys and then discuss this book w/ them. Dad’s being Dad’s!!!
The Church has to continue to work hard to prepare teenagers for today’s culture but we cannot do it alone. Parents must be Parents!!! The men are take their responsibility of being a dad seriously.
As a parent don’t miss opportunities. Be encouraged by these 3 men and their effort to take the opportunity why they have it with their young men and train them up in the way they should go.
