4 Keys to leading a volunteer meeting:

We do our volunteer meeting s once a month. Michael and Jeremiah do an amazing job at leading these meetings w/ their teams. As I attend them and we talk about them latter I know 4 things, I’m sure there are 20 more, that we should do every meeting.

1. Have an Agenda for all your volunteers: Let them see what you are talking about that day and this gives them something to take home with them.
2. Keep it short and informative – Don’t preach a sermon. Train, Encourage and talk to them. Remember they are tired and want an afternoon so don’t make it last all day. If you want them to keep coming make it a productive meeting.
3. Have Good Food and Drinks
4. Have Childcare for their kids.
