I was challenged by pastor, David Landrith, to create a
family mission statement built around our last name.
I can’t imagine a better thing to do to in your family to start 2014.
M – Memories (Ps 90:12)
I – Integrity
(Prov 10:9)
L- Love (Luke 10:27)
L – Leadership
(Mark 10:45)
S – Salvation
(John 3:16)
Are you living your life on purpose or just getting by day
to day? Great leaders, and we need
more great leaders in the home, living on purpose in all they do and making others
better. Life is not easy and
struggles are real and hard. We
need to know why we do what we do and why we live the way we live.
A family mission statement is fun and keeps your kids on
focus with why you do what you do together as a family.
I challenge you to keep it centered around the gospel and
centered around God's word.
It is easy to center all events and conversations around your family's mission statement. We take about a month (maybe a little longer) to memorize the verses to go w/ our mission statement and we talk about them often.
