LONDON TRIP 2007 - Friday through Sunday

WE MADE IT!!!!!!!!

We arrived at London Gatwick Airport @ 5am this morning. We tehn set in the custom's line for 2 and 1/2 hours. We then were picked up and headed to the Church. We sent all the students to bed and then we rejoined up this evening @ 4 to get ready for the evening worship service.

All the students were (are) very tired. We only sleep about 5 hours in 2 days. Yet we have had not one complaint. The students have been awesome, you should be very proud of your teenager.

We are all now in the host homes about to go to bed. It is about 10pm here while I am typing this and all the students are in the Host Homes.

We are so thankful for the church here they have been amazing working with us to make this a great trip so far.

If you would like to leave your student comment I will print them off and read them to the students. Just click comment below and I will get it.

HERE ARE WEEKEND PICT’S

Brian,

If you get a chance, tell Jeff there was an article in today's paper about a person that went through the Sonic drive through in Alma, gave a $100 bill to the person at the window and said to pay everyone's meals until it ran out. Could that be one of "our" hundreds?

Hey Brianh
Glad everyone is safe and hopefully somewhat rested. Thanks for the videos and pictures. They sounded great! Tell the Goodrum Girls to get a phone card and phone HOME! WOW what an opportunity, Thanks for making it happen.
By the way: Kevin gave us (the staff home) a raise, stay gone as long as needed maybe we will get more! Miss you guys.
Know that you are covered in prayer. I can't seem to sleep a wink so all I am doing is PRAYING!
Love,
Sherry

Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your trip through this amazing technology. We are all back here praying for you and to be able to see your shining faces as you share so far away is fantastic (and comforting). We miss you and look forward to hearing all the stories about the trip when you get home.

Keep the pictures coming. We'll keep praying from this end.

Sherry, I'm like you. I can't sleep well at night, either so I tend to pray a lot. And Brian, PLEASE tell Bekah to get a phone card too! I had forgotten about that.

Thanks! Lorrie

Correction to my previous comment about the $100 at Sonic it was actually at Geno's Pizza in Alma.

The choir sounded SO good on the video. I bet the church loved it!

Tell Terry I heard the Queen had trouble sleeping last night. Something about an American with a bad snoring habit! ;)
