Testimony from LHSM Camp - Ashton Redden

God has taught me a lot of things this week at camp. What stuck out to me the most was that God is always in control no matter what. Sometimes we think that we can take care of any and everything when in reality we can't, we're just human. We serve a God who is BIGGER than any of our problems and He can take care of it no matter the situation. We shouldn't fear the plans he has for us. Although, we may get very impatient and weary for God to fix our problems it's all on his timing and his timing is perfect.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will" Romans 12:2

Another thing is that ignoring God is kind of impossible. Whenever you try to ignore God, he's not going to go away. He's going to keep knocking until you answer and open up. God wants to do a work in your life and you should be obdient and respond. God loves you and he wants to see you walk through the gates of Heaven.

"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see" Hebrews 11:1
