2013 year end review of Long Hollow Student Ministry

We had an amazing year in 2013 in LHStudents.

over 420+ baptism
All events broke records
started 2 campuses and watch those Youth Ministries explode.
Added 50+ additional volunteers
Did Quest in a Hotel for the first time.
Had 3 crusades in 1 week.
over 150 students going through discipleship programs.
and so much more.

I am so proud of of the volunteers and students in our ministry.  It is a honor to serve with them and to see all God is doing through Long Hollow Student Ministry.  Grateful to a church the supports and funds youth ministry!!!

3 different Small Group Curriculums to use in 2014-2015

Here is some great curriculum to use in home groups, wednesday nights, sunday school, maser teacher or in a discipleship group.

Check them out.  All were written by @RachelLovingood and the @LHStudents staff.  

8 week study that walks you through the "grey areas" of life.  This was huge for us and made our students really think.  Based on the Book "Chasing Elephants" by Brent Crowe

THRU is my favorite as it walks your students through God's word in chronological order over 52 weeks.  1 years worth of curriculum for only $300.  Was one of the best things we have done.  Try it out this year.

reclaim takes you on a journey through your identity.  This curriculum is where the dream of the girls book "Salvaging my Identity" by Jennifer Mills and Rachel Lovingood.   This is an 8 week study that was a lot of fun for our students.  Check it out HERE 

THE CHALLENGE TO BAPTIZE 12 STUDENTS IN 2014. YOU IN?

There are 46000+ South Baptist Churches in the U.S. 

Out of the 46,000 churches we have on average been baptizing the past few years 75,000+ students.  That is 1.6 students a church is being baptized a year. 

I want to throw the challenge out there that IN THE YEAR 2014 may ALL SBC CHURCHES take on a 12 a year challenge. 

The 12 A YEAR CHALLENGE IS SIMPLE THIS:

That every church in the Southern Baptist Convention commits to winning one teenager a month to the Lord then following up with that teenager in seeing them get baptized and plugged into their church. 

IF WE DO THIS:

We will baptize 552,000 students and over ½ a million teenagers will have a different story than they had in 2013.  It will be a story of life change.

Long Hollow Student Ministry loves the opportunity to meet and learn from other ministers from all over the country.  We are a staff that is committed to watching students be saved, baptized and grow in their faith.

To help spread the resources God has blessed us with and to help learn from other churches we have created a FREE 24 hour conference that you or your team can attend.

We will let you pick a Wednesday Thursday you would like to come and we will host you and give you some of our staff's time.

3-4 Meet w/ a LHSM Staff Member
5 Dinner on your own
6:15 Middle School Service
7:15 High School Service

9am Attend and Observe during our LHSM staff creative planning meeting.

1-2pm - Take a tour of our new youth building
